INSERT PEDALS BY HAND FIRST
DO NOT USE EXCESSIVE FORCE

Pedals come with RH and LH thread and are marked different ways, see below.

After initial install, you will need a 15 mm ( 9/16) open end wrench to FIRMLY tighten the pedals. Bike shops use a very long special pedal spanner in order to get the needed force.

If the pedals are not tight they will loosen up and there is a big risc getting hurt. Please go to a bike shop in order to make sure they are tight enough.
A STRIPPED CRANKARM IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY

Most pedals come with washers, which go inbetween the crank and the pedal. It is important to use them.

Pedals like on Tern Node D8 and Link D8

These are the new Tern pedals found on D8 models like the Node D8 and Link D8. They have a very small R or L stamped onto the axle. They also do not have a 15mm ( 9/16) flat side, hence a regular pedalwrench will not work. They do instead have a 6 mm allen key to tighten the pedals.

Unfortunately the shipping box doesnt allow me to install the pedals, otherwise I would have done that of course during the checkout.

Regular Pedals

More common available folding pedals like the picture, have a flat section for a pedal wrench.( 9/16 or 15 mm )

They also have a "serated" portion of the axle, which is the left side.

MKS Pedals

MKS pedals have a narrow flat section, where most pro pedal wrenches are just to thick. Use a 15 mm cone wrench or spanner to install them
